چکیده

The problem of detecting defective turned-off elements in antenna arrays from near-field measurements is addressed. In particular, the focus here to reduce number order positively affect acquisition time. Such an issue achieved by adopting recently developed warping sampling method. Two commonly diagnostics methods, i.e, Back Transformation Method (BTM) and Matrix (MM), are considered view this new strategy compared usual half-wavelength sampling. identify fault locations, outcomes returned BTM MM undergo a detection step based on cell-averaging CFAR (CA)-CFAR technique borrowed radar literature. It shown that method provides performance close uniform one with reduced data. Numerical simulations carried out verify results different layouts tapered currents.

adaptive non‑uniform rate sampling and application in data compression

in this paper the author considers a general method, based on time domain samples for spectral manipulation of time limited signals. first, the original signal is divided into some frames in the time domain. then, by presenting a suitable theoretical and computational algorithm, and using a method for improving the speed of convergence, we find the local bandwidth of each frame; thereby, each f...

Design of Steerable Linear and Planar Array Geometry with Non-uniform Spacing for Side-Lobe Reduction

In this paper, we present a noble pattern synthesis method of linear and planar array antennas, with non-uniform spacing, for simultaneous reduction of their side-lobe level and pattern distortion during beam steering. In the case of linear array, the Gauss-Newton method is applied to adjust the positions of elements, providing an optimal linear array in the sense of side-lobe level and pattern...

Uniform Data Sampling: Noise Reduction & Cosmic Rays

As computers and scientific instruments become more complicated and more powerful (Moore’s Law), we can perform astronomical observations never before contemplated. As larger data volumes are acquired, as more complex instruments are designed, and as observatories are placed in distant space locations with constrained downlink capacity, the need for automated, robust image processing tools will...

Non-uniform Spatial Sampling

We investigate in this paper the non-uniform sampling of EEG dipolar potentials and its impact on source analysis. We suppose some a priori knowledge on the approximate location of the dipole. We show that, in a noise-free situation, the electrode spacing needs to be around 3cm in the region of the dipole only, whereas it can drop to 8cm in remote regions.

Non-Uniform Sampling Methods for MRI

Simple Cartesian scans, which collect Fourier transform data on a uniformly-spaced grid in the frequency domain, are by far the most common in MRI. But non-Cartesian trajectories such as spirals and radial scans have become popular for their speed and for other benefits, like making motion-correction easier [12]. A major problem in such scans, however, is reconstructing from nonuniform data, wh...
